eyelash extensions

What are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash Extensions are a popular new service and product that lengthens and thickens your own natural eyelashes. Lash Extensions are single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They are applied to each individual natural eyelash-one at a time-for a natural, flawless, beautiful look. Because of this meticulous application, your lashes will look and feel completely real. Everyone will just think that you were born with beautiful, fabulous lashes. Eyelash Extensions are weightless, resistant to water, showering, perspiration, exercise, tears, sleeping, and even swimming. They are perfect for special occasions as well as for everyday wear.

How long do they last?

Eyelash Extensions are SEMI-PERMANENT. They will last up to 2 months, but you WILL need fills in between that time to replace any eyelashes that might have shed. When applied properly, Eyelash Extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes, shedding with your natural eyelashes. Your natural eyelashes shed every 45 - 60 days and are naturally replaced with the growth of a new eyelash. Everyone's experience will differ based on proper care and the rate of your eyelash growth cycle but over all touch ups/fills should only be required every 2 to 3 weeks. Other factors such as exposure to steam or constant touching of your eyes (your hands have natural oils) may cause the extensions to fall sooner. A simple rule of thumb: Proper care of your lash extensions will extend their longevity and beauty.

How long will it take to apply the Eyelash Extensions and how is it done?

The application process for lash extensions normally takes anywhere from 1 ½ -2 hours with someone who is experienced. First, you will fill out a consultation form and have any questions/concerns answered by the licensed Cosmetologist/Esthetician (It is illegal in the state of Georgia to apply Eyelash Extensions without a Master Cosmetologist/Esthetician License). You will then lay comfortably on a massage or facial table with your eyes closed and an under-eye gel pad will be applied to cover your lower lashes. Then the extensions will then be applied to each individual eyelash while you relax.

Are Eyelash Extensions Safe? Do they hurt?

Eyelash Extensions are completely safe and painless. In fact this procedure is so relaxing and comfortable that most clients fall asleep. You should only let a trained, LICENSED (required in the state of Georgia) professional apply your Eyelash Extensions. Unprofessional application or self-application may cause eye injury or clumpy, unnatural looking lashes. Extensions are applied one lash at a time to your individual natural eyelashes to achieve long, thick, and natural looking eyelashes. The procedure involves bonding the synthetic extension to your own natural eyelashes, and neither the extension nor the bonding agent ever touches the skin.

How do I choose the look I want?

Eyelash Extensions are available in a number of lengths and thickness. We normally consult with you first to see the look that you are going for. We also determine what your lashes can hold in regards to size. Each person's lashes will vary in strength and length. We take this into consideration when creating a customized look for you. The overall look of the lashes is very natural and beautiful, while preserving the integrity of your natural lashes.

Are Eyelash Extensions the right thing for me?

Krush Beauty loves new clients and generating business, We take pride in our honesty and our work. We do not want to just take your money. We truly care about our clients and the integrity of their lashes. You might not be a good candidate for Eyelash Extensions if you:~Rub your eyes frequently. In order to maintain the beauty of your Extensions, you should be gentle with them. Eye rubbing is not gentle! If you have a cold, sinus, or allergy infection, your extensions may not last as long due to the irritation and secretions from the eye area. Wait till things clear up or you feel better to get Eyelash Extensions.~Your natural eyelashes are very curly; curly eyelashes tend to shorten the wear time of your extensions because they are more prone to lifting after a couple of days. While you may still wear the Eyelash Extensions, you will be required to come in more frequently in order to maintain the look.

Can I apply mascara to my Eyelash Extensions?

Yes, even though mascara is not really required since the extensions actually give the illusion of wearing mascara it can be worn. If you are to wear mascara, only apply it from the middle to the tips of the lashes avoiding the base of the lashes. And it MUST be a water-based mascara. DO NOT USE OIL-BASED OR WATERPROOF MASCARA. Waterproof mascara or any type of oil-based mascara can dissolve the bonding agent and shorten the life of your Eyelash Extensions causing them to fall sooner. Care also needs to be taken in removing the mascara, such as only using a water-based eye makeup remover

Can I use Eyelash Curlers with Eyelash Extensions?

A mechanical eyelash curler is not recommended on your Eyelash Extensions, as these curlers will damage the extensions and possibly your own natural lashes. The extensions do have a natural curl but if more of a curl is required We recommend using a heated eyelash curler.

How do I take care of my new Eyelash Extensions?

Do not wash eyes or shower for 24 hours after lash application. Do not swim or spa for 48 hours after lash application to allow adequate time for curing of the bonding agent. After the initial “curing” of the bonding agent, your lashes will become waterproofAbsolutely no rubbing your eyes or pulling on your lashes. Try sleeping on your back or on a lash-protecting pillow. Be gentle with your lashes. Avoid oil-based and waterproof mascara. Water-based mascara and water-based eye make-up remover may be used. Use mascara sparingly and gently remove mascara with water-based eye makeup remover. Use eye creams sparingly and avoid the lash/lid area. Careless use of eye creams and moisturizers can result in the loss of lashes. Get a touch up every two to four weeks to maintain the look of your beautiful lashes.

Krush Beauty LLC  sells 100% Luxury Virgin Hair. Our hair has been cut directly from a donor and then wefted into usable hair extensions. Our Virgin Hair is steamed processed to achieve desired textures and patterns; this hair is guaranteed to last up to a whole year and even longer with proper maintenance.

All of our extensions come in the natural hair color of each donor ranging from a 1b to a 4.

We have reinforced machine wefting, to minimize shedding to nearly none. You may see a few strands here or there, but nothing troubling. The most effective way to avoid shedding is by sealing the wefts.

You need a minimum of 3 bundles for a full head to get a natural look, and 3-4 bundles for longer lengths to get a fuller look.

Absolutely. Our Hair Extensions can be treated as if it’s your own hair. You are able to use a thermal (hot) tool to straighten, curl, crimp, etc. Keep in mind the hair does not have all the nutrients that a strand growing from your scalp will. Heat damage can cause breakage and dryness. Therefore, it is imperative that you use a heat-protecting product, always co-wash your hair, and protect it during sleep hours.

Any chemical processes should be done by a professional or at least consulted by one. This purchase is an investment for you and chemically altering the hair can possibly damage it. Though, our virgin hair extensions can handle a coloring process very well, please be cautious. Once the hair is chemically altered incorrectly, the cuticle can become damaged and overexposed causing fraying, breakage, dryness, and tangling. This in turn will affect the overall look and feel of your hair. Chemical damage has no reverse button.
